Rules

 

Scores

  • Competition time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  • One of each team comes to the starting line without their bikes.

  • The maps lie faced down and may not be turned over before start.

  • The team members must cross the finishisng line together, with or without bikes.

  • The team with the most scores wins.

  • If a team arrives after 4p.m., 30 points will be deducted from it's total score. More than 10 minutes late: The team will be disqualified.

  • Please respect private property.

  • If two teams finish with the same score , the team that came in first, will be ahead.

  • In case your marks are damaged or hard to read, the organizers may reject them.

  • The organizers are not responsible for checkpoints that may be damaged during the competition. Those will not be included in your score.

  • The two persons in every team must stay together for the duration of the competition.

  • Manned checkpoints: It's good enogh if just one of the team members checks in.

 

 

Equipment

  • Helmets are compulsory when biking, climbing and rappeling.

  • Traffic regulations and instructions from the organizers must be respected at all times.

  • Borrowe equipment must be returned.

  • The numbers of canoes and climbing / rapelling gear is limited. Try to avoid queues.

  • Swimming is allowed at a canoe checkpoint.

  • You have to use the same bike throughout the competition. 

  • You are not allowed to use a escort car.

  • Your b.i.b should be placed in the front of your bike and on your chest.

 

Further information

  • The Express lift will be running and are free for all competitors, it's ok to bring your bike.

  • Stewards will be found thorughout the competition area. Some you can see, some are hidden.

  • Minimum age for competitors, 18 years.

  • All competitors must have a valid accident insurance.

  • In case anyone abandons the competition, they must notify the organizers at Hemsedal Resort.

  • We all want this to be a enviroment friendly event. Please bear this in mind and do not litter or do anything that may cause any damage.

  • In case of personal injuries, all teams are obligaded to help each other.

  • Any protest should be in writing and must be delivered to the organizers no later then 4:30 p.m. on the day of competition.
